LEAVING THE STUDIO/VENUE

  • You must check that you are not the last person in 3Danks - if you are, you are required to follow these instructions: 

  • If you are the last person in the premises, the hire instructions provided (www.3danks.com.au/hire-instructions) must be followed and the roller door must be closed. Failure to follow these steps will result in a fine of $650 plus GST being invoiced.

The HIRER must ensure all lights, fans, heaters, air-conditioners are turned off before leaving the studio.

STUDIO TIMES & BUMP IN/OUT

  • It is recommended to arrive to the premises 15-minutes before your studio time starts to access the premises but wait until your studio time to access the studio hired. Please contact us if someone before your booking overstayed their aloted booking time.

  • You must leave the studio (including any equipment & belonging) by the conclusion of your hire period.

  • You must hire the studio to include your bump-in and bump-out time. Studio hires are made back to back, so you need to ensure the studio is ready for the next person at the end of the time hired.

  • Any bookings that overstay their hire time will be charged at a rate of $50 plus GST per 15min.

ADDITIONAL EXTRA CHARGES:

  • If the event is between 40-100 people. Extra charge of $150 + GST plus $220 + GST cleaning fee will be invoiced.

  • If the event is over 100 people. Extra charge of $250 + GST plus $440 + GST cleaning fee will be invoiced.

PUBLIC EVENT: Please send through advertisement artwork, description and link to hello@3danks.com.au so we can promote the event on our website and across socials.

VENUE STAFF: 3Danks is a dry hire venue, meanings we do not always have our venue staffed. You will be provided instructions on how to open & close as well as how to use the equipment.

AV TECH STAFF: If you require an AV Tech staff at the event (e.g. to create a light show or complex audio set-up). Please email production@3danks.com.au to discuss.

CATERING: If your event is catered, a cleaning charge of $220 plus GST will apply. NB. If over 40 people, cleaning charge is not charged twice.

CALL OUT FEE: If for whatever reason one of the venue staff needs to come out to the venue you will be charged $300 plus GST and then $50 plus GST per every 15 minutes.

  • Note: This includes neighbours calling us to complain about your booking.

NOISE COMPLAINTS: Due to previous bookings taking advantage of our generosity we have had to put this clause into our T&Cs.
If we receive any noise complaints from our neighbours you will be immediately shut down and charged a fee of $300 plus GST. IF this is initially ignored we reserve the right to charge another $200 plus GST.

EQUIPMENT: Audio & Lighting equipment as well as furniture on-site are included in your hire.


CANCELLATION POLICY:

All cancellations must be made via email to hello@3danks.com.au

If event is within:

1 Month: 25% is charged, balance refunded.. If rescheduled to a date within 3 months time, no penalty.

14 Days: 50% is charged. 50% refunded. If rescheduled to a date within 3 months time, only 25% is charged.

7 Days: 100% of the hire fee is required. If rescheduled to a date within 3 months time, 50% is charged.

CONDITIONS OF HIRE:

Use of Smoke / Haze

  • Cannot be used without arranging a 3Danks Fire Warden to isolate the building and be present throughout the use of smoke/haze. Please email hello@3danks.com.au to arrange.

  • If smoke or haze is used without the above, the fire alarm will be tripped which will cause the fire brigade to be called. You will be automatically charged a fine of $500 plus GST from 3Danks Venue plus the Fire Brigade's call out fee which is $2000 plus GST.

Public Liability Insurance

  • For all public events, the hirer must hold Public Liability insurance to the value of $20 million.

Use of tape on floors

  • Do not use any tape on the floor that will leave a mark / residue. If tape marks / residue are left, a cleaning charge of $400 plus GST will be invoiced.

Use of props

  • Please ensure all props have floor protection to ensure the floor is not scratched / marked. If considerable marks are left through the use of props, a cleaning charge of $400 plus GST we’ll be invoiced.

Leaving the Studio (as stated previously)

  • If you are the last person in the premises, the instructions provided must be followed and the roller door must be closed. Failure to follow these steps will result in a fine of $650 plus GST being invoiced.

Cleaning

  • The hirer is responsible for leaving the studio in a tidy condition with all rubbish removed.

  • Confetti, rice or glitter must not be thrown in the studio or surrounds without seeking permission from 3Danks and associated cleaning charges applied.

  • All furniture used must be returned.

  • Note: if the Venue is left in an unsuitable manner after your booking we then reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee between $220-$440 plus GST

Prohibited

  • Smoking in the premises

  • Consuming of Alcohol in the premises unless preauthorised by 3Danks Management.

  • Candles/Incense

  • Nails, screws, tape or other fastenings must not be driven into or attached to the walls or furniture.

  • Parties: In the event that any booking is found to have violated the following conditions, a charge of $2000 plus GST will be invoiced:

    • Excessive Noise: This includes playing music at a disruptive volume.

    • Unauthorised Equipment: Bringing unauthorized speakers, microphones, DJs, or any other sound equipment into the premises without prior approval.

    • Alcohol and Smoking: Consumption of alcohol or smoking or the use of illicit drugs inside the premises without prior authorisation.

    • Exceeding Guest Limit: Hosting more people than originally specified in the booking for the venue.

Noise restrictions

  • Music MUST CEASE by 9:00pm between Monday-Sunday.

  • Noise levels must be kept at a REASONABLE level which will not disturb the local neighbours.

  • Please note our in-house speakers in Studio A will turn off automatically at 9:05PM.

TERMS

The Licensor is responsible for the care, improvement, use, promotion and financial management of 3Danks (Centre).

The Hirer wishes to utilise the Centre, or part of the Centre, and the Licensor has agreed to make the Centre available to the Hirer on the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

  • By hiring 3Danks and receiving this document, you agree to all terms and conditions sent out within this document. If you disagree with any terms and conditions within this document, you must get in contact via email to hello@3danks.com.au at least 48 hours prior to your booking.

  • All hirers must be over the age of 18 years

  • The hirers may only use the venue for the purpose provided

  • Owners of 3Danks or preventatives shall have the right of admission to the premises, at all times

  • Bookings are not confirmed until deposit is paid

  • All hire fees and additional charges must be paid in full before the start of hire period

  • The hirers are responsible for ensuring that all fire doors & emergency exists are not obstructed and access is freely available to all stairways, exists and fire escapes

  • The hirers shall not transfer, assign or sublet his/her rights in respect of the hiring

  • Hirers must allow time for set up and clean up in their hire period

  • If the fire alarm is activated unnecessarily the hirers will be pay a fine of $500 plus GST and be liable for the cost of fire brigade call out fee of $2000 plus GST

  • Hirers will pay a call out fee if 3Danks Staff are required to come to the venue for the cost of $300 plus GST and $50 plus GST per every 15 minutes there.

  • Failure to close the roller door at the premise when the last person in the building will result in a $650 plus GST charge

  • For all public events, the hirer must hold Public Liability insurance to the value of $20 million.

  • The hirers are responsible to pay for all damages to 3Danks property and assets caused directly by the hirer or guests of the hirer.

  • The Hirers agree to indemnify, to keep indemnified, and save harmless the Licensor, its employees and agents, from and against all claims, demands, actions, damages, costs, losses and expenses of any nature whatsoever (Claims) which may be incurred directly or indirectly by reason of or in relation to the use of the Centre, the Centre Facilities and Additional Facilities by the Hirer or the Associated Persons, including without limitation, Claims arising out of or in connection with any breach by the Hirer of this Agreement or breach of a third party's intellectual property rights.

  • The Licensor must not be liable to the Hirers for any loss of life, personal injury or damage to or loss of property which may be suffered or sustained at the Centre for any cause whatsoever, save where any such death, injury or damage results from a negligent act or omission of the Licensor, its agents or employees.

  • The Hirers agree to occupy and use the Centre at its own risk and releases the Licensor from all claims and demands of any kind and from any liability which may arise in respect of any accident, damage or injury occurring to any person or property in or about the Centre, unless caused by an act or omission of the Licensor (except where acting on instructions of the Hirer).

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRING 3DANKS

Please read thoroughly before booking at 3Danks. Booking and hiring a studio is a confirmation and acknowledgement of our Terms & Conditions.
